Post-gateway center mens housing navigation center, post abq opportunity center, post multiple episodes of urban camping, Kevin moved into a small apt at the Sundowner on 7-3-2026.
The staff have been very helpful in creating this housing option for Kevin and FairWestWork. They've been open to making the tangible impact of Kevin moving into the apartment and having keys. A huge step but not the end of the process. Since moving in, Kevin, the Sundowner staff and I have all discussed payment expectations, a sink that isn't draining/leaks from the sewage line, employment/income verification due by the 16th, having a SS card on file and being ready for an inspection of the facility on the 16th that may include physical access to the apartment. Nothing insurmountable, but work and effort never-the-less.
