Thanks for this info, Nick. I'm interested in this opportunity for our neighborhood. However, I think that my level of patience for sitting through lots of meetings in order to attempt to make something productive happen isn't so good anymore. Too much bureaucracy and meetings upon meetings over the course of my career to voluntarily sign on for more now.

That said, I'm open to being asked for support help "on the ground" as those kinds of opportunities present along the way. Also, if there's any way that the African American Performing Arts Center could be helped to survive, financially, through a mechanism such as this, please let me know. I'd be more invested if there was some important tangible outcome within our neighborhood, such as this, to strive for.
