Hey all,
Kathy Turner is involved in a project called Lomas Community Vision and aims and has mentioned that a ledge from the neighborhood association could help them cover costs for some upcoming community efforts. I'll let Kathy add more detail, but I mentioned that a $50 could be within our ability and I'd mention it to the board for approval.
For board members:
1. What else would you like to know about LCV?
2. Would you be open to a $50 pledge of support from FWNA?
If we have a majority in favor, then I'll work with Colton to get a check.
Thanks!
Nick

Re: Lomas Community Vision (LCV) pledge request
Dear Fair West Board,
Thank you for your support of Lomas Community Vision. Your support will help with our outreach efforts. LCV meets the second Tuesday of the Month at the Assistance League of Albuquerque, ALA. We are working to make the Lomas Corridor, Monclaire to San Pedro, a place for life to live, work, and play.
Current supports are the ALA, Palo Alto NA, Nob Hill NA, and two private donors. We put out a news letter, called The Vision and hold talks, call Lomas Talks, to address business owners concerns at the Assistance League. Please send me an email If you would like to look at the newsletter and I can send you an electronic version. In addition, send me an email if you would like to be notified about the next Lomas Talks.
We will be holding an introduction to LCV event in the Fall. We currently have six board members and are activity looking for more, preferable business owners or people who represent their neighborhood associations along Lomas. Fair West currently has two reps.
Please feel free to contact me if you have questions. turner.katherine@outlook.com 505-818-8859.
Sincerely,
Katherine Turner
